A couple updates and reminders for everyone:
First, thanks to everyone who stopped by our Munchkins Meet & Greet event! We hope you enjoyed the donuts and getting to learn more about our upcoming events.
Second, remember to sign up for your national AAPS membership by September 16th to be entered to win a $25 Amazon gift card! The national membership for graduate students and post-docs is only $40 and benefits include reduced conference and meeting registration fees, access to AAPS publications, and opportunities for networking with other scientists. Once you have signed up for your membership, let us know by emailing unc.ch.aaps@gmail.com.
Third, mark your calendars for our first speaker event of the year on Friday, September 30th from 12-1 pm! Lunch will be provided, so stay tuned for more information on how to RSVP.
